IN THE BEGINNING
A photo of my mother and father on a day out in Hyde park in London in 1954, my mother on the far right and my father on the left. Look closely and you can see my father’s watch, a beautiful 1950’s 25 jewel Bidynator Automatic. In 1975, when I was ten, I inherited the watch and as a young inquisitive child this watch sparked my imagination and set me on a career path that would change my life forever as a watchmaker.

My father’s watch was a typical working men’s watch at the time.
Our MissionOur Mission is to make great classic watches without compromise and offer them to watch enthusiasts and collectors.
This is the watch from my father that inspired me to attend watchmaking school and then to Oxford for my first job as a watchmaker, hence the name of our first collection – Gentlemen’s Oxford Collection.
